Stimulus, develops technology to simplify access to resources for neighborhood improvements, business development and personal growth.

#Connect2Resources - an event series that creates new relationships between large organizations and a diverse range of small-medium organizations including technology startups, minority and women-owned businesses. 

Our May theme: "Technology can bridge the gap between cities": attendees will hear from leaders in various cities, understand their resources, learn multi-city tactics and more.

Our 'Stimulus Connect' for May: 50% of the ticket sales will go to non-profit Minorities in Science & Technology (M.I.S.T.) to help fund their film, Gear Girls - a docuseries and documentary to highlight the past, present and future of minorities in technology.

Jocelyn J. Arnold – Deputy Director for Development, City of Philadelphia Office of Grants.

The mission of the office is to increase the City’s capacity and capability to compete for federal, state and philanthropic sector grants.

Jimmy Lee – President & CEO, GoodCity – Chicago VIA SKYPE

GoodCity identifies and then supports high potential community-based entrepreneurs working to solve complex problems in their community. 

Amardeep Prasad – Program Manager, Startup in Residence (STIR) – San Francisco VIA SKYPE

Startup in Residence, a 16-week program which partners government departments with startups to develop products and services that address critical public sector challenges.

Travis Sheridan – President, (Cambridge Innovation CenterVenture Café Global Institute – Boston

CIC develops innovation ecosystems that support exceptional innovators and entrepreneurs and helps them to translate their ideas into practical, large-scale benefits for society.  (Launching in Philly)
